Taking the Mystery out of Polymer Activation (PDF)

  News:

February 17, 2015 - Mr. Brian Allen, P.Eng., Vice President of Indachem has retired effective January 31, 2015. Brian has been with Indachem since its inception in 1986 and played an instrumental role in establishing Indachem as the premier PolyBlend distributor throughout the world. Through numerous plant demonstrations, engineering presentations, and a lot of hard work, Brian was able to prove the superior performance of the PolyBlend system compared to commonly used polymer makedown systems. Throughout his 29 years with Indachem, Brian built solid relationships in the engineering community and was widely regarded as a national expert on polymer makedown systems. It has been a pleasure working with Brian and the knowledge he transferred to his staff will forever be invaluable. From all of us at Indachem, we wish Brian all the best in his retirement.

February 17, 2015:

Expanded Service Capabilities: Indachem has added an additional service technician to our staff.  We are pleased to introduce Diego Morales to our customers.  Diego, a graduate of the Sheridan College Chemical Engineering Technology program, will be involved in Factory Acceptance Testing, start-ups, commissioning, Site Acceptance Testing, and training on all new Indachem projects across Canada.  Diego will be supported by our Senior Service Technician, Jason Wolsztyniak.

Aftermarket Support and Service Contracts: Indachem understand’s that today’s operators and maintenance staff are being asked to do more with less.  Let Indachem compliment your team to alleviate some of this burden.  Indachem offers cost effective service contracts tailored to suit your needs.  The functions can include re-training, scheduled visits for equipment inspection and regular preventative maintenance, and equipment repair.  Please contact Jason Wolsztyniak, Indachem Senior Service Technician, to schedule an appointment to discuss your specific needs.

Pilot and Demonstration Units: Here at Indachem we believe that demonstrations are the best way to prove why PolyBlend remains the market leading polymer makedown technology.  For almost 30 years, Indachem has worked closely with operators to showcase the benefits of PolyBlend and we continue this tradition today.  Offering a complete range of emulsion and dry polymer makedown systems for pilots and demonstrations, Indachem has a product to meet your needs.  Whether the goal is to trial the polymer euipment, compare polymer makedown technologies, or to pilot new process equipment, let us offer you our expertise. Please contact Indachem at 416-743-3751 for more information.

Online Polymer Activation Measurement: Indachem has developed a proprietary tool to measure the rate of polymer activation.  This tool for operators takes the guess work of determining proper mix time and the ideal makedown concentration.  The result is polymer optimization, process improvement, and cost savings all while providing piece of mind.  Please call Indachem to discuss a tailor-made solution for your polymer activation needs.

January 13, 2014 - Indachem is pleased to announce the hiring of Nick Pecoskie as the new Ontario Sales Manager as of August 12, 2013. After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a B.A. in 2004, Nick joined Fleishman Hillard International Communications as a member of the Financial and Corporate Communications team. While at Fleishman Hillard, a world leading full service public relations firm, Nick worked on clients ranging from Mitsubishi Motors, ATI Technologies, the CFA Institute and multiple public mining and technology firms. Following Fleishman Hillard, Nick transitioned to investor relations and business development within the junior mining and metals royalty market. In junior mining, Nick worked to raise considerable capital during both IPO and secondary financings and ran investor relations programs for multiple junior exploration and development companies. Later transitioning to the metals royalty market, Nick worked with an innovative firm that brought mining equipment and engineering to near-term gold producing firms in exchange for royalty revenue. During his time in the capital markets, Nick also assisted in launching Ontario’s first Solar Income Fund and has maintained a keen interest in alternative energy and environmental issues.

Nick will be responsible for all Ontario municipal and industrial sales. Nick can be reached at (416) 743-3751 or on his cell at
(905) 617-1648.

January 13, 2014 - Indachem has commissioned a new laboratory dedicated to polymer preparation optimization. The laboratory can be used as a tool by designers to assist them in determining optimal polymer mix times, polymer makedown concentrations, and water temperatures. Please contact Indachem at (416) 743-3751 to learn more about how we can help you in your polymer makedown and feed system design.
